The Crossroads sets, if you believe television critics, apparently wobbled worse than any other programme. However the truth is they wobbled no worse than sets seen in any other television drama of the era.
The fact is Crossroads did not have its own special construction team. The motel sets were made by the ATV set designers and this skilled crew constructed the scenery for many, many ITV programmes - from soaps to lavish dramas and every other television genre of the era. If the sets wobbled so badly in Crossroads they would have wobbled in every ATV series.
