No I don't think says anything, just hands over a horse shoe which Jill responds to.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

Considering that she lived for another 20 odd years and seems to have been in good health,it was rather annoying that Jack Barton and his team just appeared to lose interest in the character and let her fizzle out.The same thing seemed to happen with Tish.

Yes I think it was a shame, I'm sure Reg wouldn't have. He seemed very good in all his soaps of keeping popular characters around.

I was sorry they didn't keep Miss Tatum on - the post office was always the best place for gossip between motel scenes , and kept the village side of it still involved. I seem to remember that the village part after that in Bowman's era was just Roy Lamberts corner shop. (Well - until they changed the name of the programme....aagh! That Grice family! - that's when I said come back Brownlows, all is forgiven!).

Yes Miss Tatum says to Diane "I wouldn't miss it for the world my dear" and then as she gives Adam and Jill the horseshoe, she says:"Much happiness to you both,my dears." Its a very good episode we have huffy Glenda being forced to say sorry to John Latchford, nice bit of Jill wishing Meg and Sandy were there(give it a few episodes for Meg,Jill)comedy provided by Diane,a good old wedding too. Barbara Hunter looks great!

That's right i'm remembering even more of it now,i seem to recall reading that Sue Hanson actually did break the heel on her shoe when she was speaking to Liz Croft,so they decided to include it briefly into the story as Sue had no other shoes to wear.

Yes good review although Benny wasn't in jail,he was on the run as we all know. Be good if the person had reviewed Sandy's hospital episodes from 72 as I defy anyone, not to be moved by them.

Yes it was never a 'Free Benny' was it, it was a 'Benny Is Innocent' campaign. Although does he go to jail in 1980 for something - maybe they did it twice! LOL
