Did an actor named Marc Stanton ever play a character in Crossroads, and if so when?

Thanks.

I can't find any records in the 1964-84 listings.

The 1985-88 listings haven't been compiled yet so I don't know about that era, or the later series.

MarC Stanton was often in Crossroads.  He appeared in numerous programmes mainly in the late 80's.  He tended to have small parts either in the restaurant or leisure centre, probably because of his stunning good looks.  He appeared about every 6-10 weeks.  He was also seen in most of the other soaps of the time and also numerous other programmes such as Soldier Soldier, Boon, Ice Dance, Wayne Dobson Magic show etc.  He left acting in the early 90's and now works as a senior university lecturer giving lectures about journalism and China.  He also now lectures  on cruise ships such as the QE2 and can also be heard on various radio stations as an expert on China.  He is also published around the world about the presentation of develping nations.  A google search will soon find him.

That'll be why I couldn't find any details. Later 80s details are still work in progress.

How come when I search on IMDB for Mark, he is only credited with a single appearance, that being in soldier soldier. Could you please let me know where you have obtained this information.
I have searched google and have not been able to find more tv appearances...

Information on IMDB is submitted by visitors, and therefore is not an exhaustive or wholly reliable resource.

A Google search reveals a biography for Marc at Edge Hill University where he lectures. This gives several more acting credits.
