Typical, the motel anniversary party is actually missing, but the discussions about it are there!

Wonderful selection.

I don't like the fact they're using screen captures, when you think of all the photographs that were taken of the show over the years.

Has the Rex Features only got a handful, where is the rest! Honestly, Carlton TV has cocked up everything its touched!

I used to like it when Mike, darling, used to make better sleeves than the official ones. Can't one try it again...

Well I think Network and Martin the designer have always done a fabulous job with the sleeve, obviously yes sometimes images are not from the right era, but it happens with all the long running shows.

I think if ITV had kept the photos themselves there would have been an easier access to them. Despite Network having Granada rights to VT, I think they have to pay Rex additional costs now for images.

I know the TV Times photo archive is accessible via Scope Features, I don't know if TV TImes would be cheaper than Rex, they have a nice selection from the 1970s.

I still don't know what happened to the TV World photo archive, and all its wonderful 1960s and pre-launch Crossroads images.

As for a mock Sleeve, well just for fun, maybe later.

I do think the 'proper' images always make a sleeve look a bit more professional meself.  8)

Using images of people who will no doubt feature a lot in this 3rd DVD.

When is the 2nd Volume released again? 17th Feb? I didn't know that Volume 1 was already released. I see on Volume 3 one episode is written and directed by Reg Watson - so that should be interesting.

There technically should be one released towards the end of every month for the next eight years...

I think they are going to have to include more episodes per release because I can't see them continuing for eight years!

If demand stays up, and according to the 'best sellers' on the Network listing, seems no sign of a wither yet!

If Cell Block H can sell complete.. Can't see why Crossroads won't of course once it loses its 'soap opera' style in 1982 then the 'cult' market might give up on it, but I'm sure all the ATV episodes will get a release, I think it'll dwindle when the purple reception comes in.

And i'm sure I read that when they get into years where there are 'more stock' they'll double the disc releases, which is very wise.

How did Prisoner release their episodes? (Incidentely Ann George (Amy) was a fan of Prisoner Cell Block H) How many eps did they have to release? I can't see Crossie taking 8 years somehow - I could be wrong. The thinking behind it must be along the lines of 12 quid a month is about the right price that fans would spend? I work it out at roughtly 3:50 per week for 8 years! So that's as good as it can get!

All nearly 700 episodes have been released in a big metal case and I think the cost is nearly £1000.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I was told today that these Crossroads volumes you have to send away for and that Zavi will not be stocking them. If they are so popular you would think that they would be available in the shops. Who do I send off to? Sorry for the stupid question!

Post edit: Ta for the help - just sent off yesterday for Volume 2 as 1 one doesn't do anything for me - with having so much of the 60s episodes contained.
