Paul, thanks for putting those links up. Still funny no matter how many times seen those clips. As I have already mentioned earlier in this thread, Carry on Abroad is up there with the best of the Carry on films.

Carry On Behind - Windsor Davies in summer shorts and replacing Sid James has kicked a blow up kids ball into the air and over a caravan roof accidently falling onto a pile of burning leaves that Peter Butterworth is disposing of. As Butterworth turns around and sees the ball melting in his fire, he panics and tries to beat the ball down into the fire incase anyone saw what happened. Davies runs around looking for the ball and arrives at the smoking fire. Butterworth by this point is a distance away gathering up more leaves for the fire and hears Davies shouting as he tries to remove the burning plastic mess from the fire...
Butterworth: What's wrong with you?
Davies: Me balls burning!
Butterworth: Well don't stand so close to the fire!

Its the old team that made the films popular and more popular than ever before. Only Windsor and Dale are left. New technology in America can now re-create old film stars and put them in new films! think of the savings! maybe one day they'll get round to new Carry On's with most of the old team BACK in action! wouldn't Ben Elton be a good choice to write the scripts?

Apparently they could put people into shows in the 1980s, but it must have cost a fortune back then. There was that newspaper article saying Smethurst was trying to get them to digitally revive Meg.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

The possibilites are endless - we could, in ten years, have old Crossie back! whether actors were dead or alive - it wouldn't matter too much.

I love the Carry Ons particularly "Carry On Doctor",all the team are there with the bonus of Frankie Howard.
Like many people you think Barabra Windsor was in more but she only did nine, ten if you include "Thats Carry On".
I also like "Spying","Cleo","Cowboy","Screaming","Up The Kyber",you really miss Sid James and Kenneth Williams when they're not in a film.
I hate "Carrry On England",never seen "Emmanuelle",no desire to see it.

You haven't missed anything by not watching "Carry on Emmanuelle" Oorshughie, not funny at all. I had the misfortune of watching it because it was in my Carry On Box-Set. It stars Suzanne Danielle with Kenneth Williams. Joan Sims has a bit part. But along with "Carry On England", and "Columbus" the worst in the series.

Maria sums the film up perfectly. I recall reading in Kenny's diaries that he didn't want to do Emmanuelle (He never wanted to do any of them!!!!!) but his fee was raised slightly and did it as he wasn't being offered anything else. He did almost all of them only in order to pay for his and his mum's flats (running them). It's rumoured that the producer and director thought it was a mistake.

I remember Barbra Windsor telling off Gerald Thomas on "This Is Your Life",for not having her in "Columbus",I think she got the better deal.

I've just been watching `The Greatest Ever Carry On Films' on Channel 5. A countdown of the top 20 Carry On Films.
In third place was `Carry On Camping', runner up was `Carry On Abroad' and the winner was `Carry On Up The Kyber'.
