Yeah, my Series 4 & 5 are the Granada release, but I'll get the Network releases of the other series.  (In fact, I'm almost tempted to get all five from Network, but I'm not sure yet)

There were times I thought Sarah was a bit annoying, but yes Pauline Collins played her very well.

Douggie, I guess contributions to doFluidentaries depend on various actors' cirFluidstances and whether they wish to talk about it.

Although he has been `Mr Pauline Collins' for ages, his first wife Jill Browne was in Emergency Ward 10.

The BBC? let's guess the cast - 20 year old blonde female - 21 year old blond female - 22 year old blond female - 20 year old male - 26 year old male - another blond 23 year old and who will play Hudson? a 19 year old? They seem to be getting some of their confidence back so we might get a... 40 year old - but they may put an onscreen warning that his scenes will be minimal. Anyone read they've decided to 'let' someone... over... 55 to... read the news! I didn't know anyone lived over 55 did you?

This isn't a remake but a continuation set several years after the conclusion of the original series.

And as Jean Marsh and Eileen Atkins are both involved I think we can rest assured it'll be wide range of ages.

Wide range?! you watch! there'll be one age and one age only - the older cast members will be there only to give a continuity - bit like new Crossroads! watch all the bbc stuff - they are obessed with youth and loosing the old viewers they have!

Well a simple solution would be for you not to tune in and allow those of us who will to look forward to it.

Oh, will someone take Hudson to school! oh, Miss Bridges you are far too young to get married - your very old mother Mrs Bridges would be proud however! -  oh, the Lady of the house has gone on holiday and she's left her 16 year old daughter! oh, the Master has gone into London and left his 26 year old solicitor to look over the plans for the extention!

Miss Bridges:
"Oh, isn't it nice to have the house filled up with young people"!

Hudson:
"Has anyone seen my footie gear"!

Rose:
"Next door is opening as a school! More young people - it's nice to see the street filling up with young people! and we've run out of marzipan by the way. Lord Bowers is due to arrive at noon - that's young Lord Bowers as his father is in London on business."

Miss Bridges:
"Has the barrow boy been?".

The Land Girls was a wide range of ages - apart from the Land Girls themselves which was the whole point.

I think the BBC are a little better than ITV.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

ITV are at the same thing - they all are.  Grin Channel Four has a lot to answer for!  Grin I wonder did Marsh and Atkins have any pull not only in themselves being a part of it but in it returning.

They had plenty of input in bringing it back.  They own the rights to the show, so any revival would have had to involve them at some point, and their production company Sagitta is making the show too.  Chances are they'll have a big say in the casting too.

Yes they will both have a lot of input into the two new episodes so I think we can, for now, rest assured they'll be worth watching.

I think Mr. Ross would rather life in America. Maybe we could all put in together for a collection to send him to a trailer park there. Yes I see Mr. Ross in a trailer in some fleapit part of America.

You can pick up the entire Box Set for about 45 quid with some online retailers. If you're a big fan then the  extras alone are worth double dipping.
