This is very exciting, but if one clicks onto the disc on the website, or indeed on the Crossroads page itself, it no longer promotes the series as "What's Left...In Order".

This, I fear, speaks volumes.  I think DVD-20 will be the last for some time.  The drop in sales must be because that, er, Welsh family have been unable to stock the product on the shelves of the Post Office, henceforth web-only sales have been a dwindling disaster following the initial "rush".

I do hope that the releases return, but for now I will order mine and wait for Miss Luke to come around for a peek.  And she will.

I'm going to savour these and string them out for as long as possible - doubt I'll make them last to October tho!

Miss Tatum you've always been an angel but the drop in sales is all to do with Benny / farmhouses and motel kitchens.

It'll have to wait until payday.  Can I wait just 8 days to get it?!   Undecided

No doubt Network are trying, pathetically, to cover themselves by removing their now broken "promise"... "What's left... in order". Network, i think, are just a company who please themselves, their words aren't set in stone. Once they see the money rolling in from Vol. 20 caused by their publicity stunt, they'll change their minds and not cancel the dvd releases... if they've got any sense!!  Wink

Of course they've not officially said anything. We've only posted a comment/email sent to a CAS member who then passed the info on.

I mean Network have said nowt, so I don't know how much of a stunt it was. Knowing them they won't have wanted anyone to know anything as per.

The whole 1.1 release/1965 episode was bonkers, it was ITV who paid for the publicity, who did all the hard work. IT was like they, network, couldn't be arsed.

I rang up Network last month when I found out the DVD's were being discontinued and acted a bit thick but polite "When is Number 20 out please?"  I was told April.  I am so glad I wasn't being fobbed off.  Hope we get numbers 21 etc
