I read a few weeks ago that some American government minister (or whatever they're called over there!) has called for a motion (Oh, Matron) on banning sound levels being increased during add breaks and that he will try to get support to have commercials and trailers at the same volume as the t.v. programmes they.... interupt! Good on him. If he's successful someone over here may do likewise.

N.B. Since we can't modify our posts anymore! (except for some hours or so after the thread/post has been written) I have to add that my original thread heading should read Volume levels - not Sound levels. Is anyone still awake out there?

Since this happened, its now law in America that the TV Ad must be the SAME level as the programme.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

About time it was enforced over here!

Freeman's utterly beautiful and rather easy-on-the-eye co-Bargee.

(I cannot accept any responsibility for Daniel's actions, especially when he upsets people)
