Hi - I am realy enjoying the DVD's of Crossroads and do remember some of it .I can't remember how Vera leaves the show when does it happen and how is she written out .Does anyone know what happend to her when she died in real life is that when she left the show .I saw a memorial for her in The Stage last year  .Be grateful for any info on her as you may have gathered apart from Meg she was my favourite charachter .

She didn't die until 2002/3 time so her leaving didn't have anything to do with ill health.

I did hear she did leave Crossroads, like John Forgeham, because of a run in with one of the soaps 'more major' stars.

No, it doesn't. If you'd written it correctly it should have said "I did hear she left…"
