2300 is interesting because up until the Crossroads DVD releases ITV thought the one which opens with Hugh and Meg arguing was 2300 for some reason. There was a whole hoo-har at the time about it being lost.

There is a copy of that which again has Meg and Hugh arguing, this is the episode where Amy is shouted at by Meg - who doesn't realise her problems and tells her to go away. Its the same poor quality as Noele's This Is Your Life, which ITV also had to try and "do something with" for the Unforgettable programme, if a clip from TIYL appears then there is hope that these things can be improved upon but I doubt it.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

Lucky,the third episode is 2814.

Oops, I just checked the other thread and you mentioned that one before. Apologies for asking twice, but its stuck in my head now!

I hope a missing episode turns up this year, at least one. After all there are so many to choose from, I'm sure they just have to be some out there in private hands.

Some of the clean-up work they did on the Tom Baker Swap Shop appearances was fantastic - although I know this was short clips AND for a DVD release in which the costs could be justified.

The knowledge that they have at least done "something" with the episode in question is reassuring - even if it just to have made a copy of it.

I think Hugh also shouts at Amy, telling her Meg is busy.  Meg & Hugh arguing will be about the painting I'm sure of it.  Meg not wanting Hugh to sue Stan for the damages.
