Hi there, I'm newly registered athough I've been an occasional browser for some years! (I'd have posted a few days ago but I never got the second e-mail. I tried to re-register today until it said my name had already been used!)

I think it was on here that I found a link to a private video on YouTube of episode 2815. Is there something similar available for 2867, please?

For the past two years I've been watching episodes from roughly 34 years ago and I hope to continue that way this year. Although I only have the complete set up to volume 10, that's still lots of episodes to watch before the summer ends! I'd like to start with 2867 if I can. If anyone knows how I can watch it I'll be a happy man!

I'm not sure about this one. This is obviously one of the missing 1977 ones that may have since been refound and was released on VHS fan club earlier.

I think that this episode was found at the BFI in 2008 and just missed the Network DVD releases-the only existing episode prior to June 1979 not on DVD(apart from three "fan club " eps which are no longer in the archives).

I'm surprised it wasn't the one on SoapBox.

Is this the one that is possibly Vera's 'last' episode?

2867 is the episode in which Maureen died in the hit and run accident on her wedding day to Benny. I mentioned it in the missing episodes thread in the DVD episodes section of this forum.

DJB: you mentioned 3 fanclub episodes could be out there. I know of only two - 2815 (the one Heathbury kindly uploaded to Youtube) and 2300 (the one before Meg's wedding to Hugh), is there a third? Hopefully there is!

Maybe you meant 1885 or 1887? I'm not even sure if these still exist anywhere as they were used to source clips I believe.

It would be great if somone could confirm if they have seen these episodes recently or if they can say if they are still out there. I'm not asking anyone to return them or make them available if they don't want to, I would be happy enough just to know they are out there and that are in safe hands. My biggest worry isn't gettig my hands on them, just that I'm worried they'll end up destroyed as people move away from VHS and don't realise the value of what they have.

If someone wants to say something along those lines but doesn't want to post it themselves for worry of being hassled, feel free to send me a private message and I'll post it on your behalf that they still exist! No names mentioned.

Rather unfortunate that they went possibly because of a programme made by the BFI of all people.

Mike mentioned having seen a very very very poor copy of the one before the wedding but I believe he said it was in the hands of orb. Which is a shame as I would also like to see this one.

I think "Tish" had that one possibly. She described it on here once.
