I cannot get through to that link. If it's true - I am deeply saddened. Sue Lloyd was a brilliant actress well before Crossroads!
She'll always be Barbara Brady to me.

For such an established site to report it we think its true. I know for a fact she's been ill for a few months as she was asked to do the Unforgettable Noele Gordon and was too weak to even manage an interview.

"A TV show would give its eye teeth for that kind of viewership today. Each episode only cost £10,000 to make and brought in £100,000 worth of advertising revenue. I think the truth is that they were ashamed of it. They axed it because it affected their egos. I think it was a very short-sighted decision.. ..I simply consider the criticism to be dreadfully insulting to our huge following of viewers." - Sue Lloyd

Another of the motel management gone, but what a career.

As Mike has said, Sue has been very ill for a few months.  I was one who knew this because of knowing about the ITV programme.  But it still came as a shock when hearing this.

Somebody who was well known  before Crossroads.  Another one of the cast gone this year following on from Margaret John.  Shame.

I won't hold out for Digital Spy covering it or as I call them CRAP 'Copy, Rearrange And Paste' so if the Sun doesn't spoon feed them the info in an article for them to just rearrange the words it won't appear.
