I seem to remember when Crossroads 2001 started it was described as (from what I remember) - a much more luxurious 4-star hotel compared to the lowly 2-star Motel that it used to be. I don't even remember Meg having any stars at all, bless her!
But apart from that, it was a hotel prior to that series anyway - as in Kings Oak (which I didn't like).
What set me off on this was - I was watching the 'Crossroads Strike' on one of the other threads....the Freeman Era - and it was quite clearly seen behind Daniel that there is an AA four star sign at the entrance to the driveway! So the 'NEW' Crossroads Hotel didn't improve on the standards of the 80's after all!!  Grin

Methinks it would have got to 5*Plus by the time Angel took over! (but that was all a dream wasn't it!)  Smiley

It had 3-stars in the original, and Carlton said it had none. But they were not the best at being the BBC ala Dr Who.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

Well Carlton hadn't even heard of Crossroads had they?  They just read it up from old magazines and based it on that.
It was still FOUR STAR in 1985 though! Mark my words! It's there for all to see.
