Thanks Maria.
Is anyone any good at doing screencaps?
There are little small pictures of most motel employees on the main site on the 'motel staff' page but it would be great to have a few photos of the unsung extras that graced out screens for years.
If anyone feels like posting any screencaps here I'll do my best to help identify them.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

Nobby! He was rarely seen on screen - but constantly mentioned by Jim, Sharon, Victor etc.

To be honest I was torn between Nobby and Teresa, not much in it, but went for Teresa.

Nobby was seen from 1978 right up to 1985, he mightn't have been seen much in the early years but he was shown more and more as the series progressed. As you say Daniel, he was constantly mentioned as well.

There's a guy I chatted to online who was one of the "yobbo" extras in 81 that Adam later gave chase to (offscreen)in the famous
Motel Fire episode of 81,he was the guy who sent me the black and white footage of "Shut That Door" with Noele and also Emu.
I've been watcging the Crossroads UK Gold epiosdes recently, there was a middle aged barman extra called Malcolm,he disappears and
is replaced by a young darked hair extra called John.
Mandy the barmaid does get some lines occassioally but all the extras seem to have a volume problem, probably told to say lines quietly to avoid paying them more money.

I think one of the yobbos ran an Antiques shop in Islington,as a few days after the fire an elderly passerby, had a real go at him for doing what he did to the motel,I remember reading this at the time Shughie.
Yes I agree Lucky, but I expect it would be nigh on impossible to find out who they were, and where they lived by now,if indeed they were still alive. Does anyone know their real names?even I'm stuck as to that.

Freeman's utterly beautiful and rather easy-on-the-eye co-Bargee.
(I cannot accept any responsibility for Daniel's actions, especially when he upsets people)

With shows like Dr. Who, there are records of every extra who ever appeared...I have never heard of the actual name of any Crossroads extra. Does anyone know if any records of this sort of thing survives?
