That might explain why I never saw the last series. I was in the YTV/Tyne Tees area at the time. What a bugger!!

I believe it got a repeat on Granada Plus over 10 years ago.  I got chatting to a guy who'd been really into Prisoner and he said he'd caught a few episodes, but wasn't impressed by them.  Worryingly, he also said they were made on film!  From what I've seen, WTW was made on tape, with location inserts on film.  All five series are available and at the moment Series 1 is going for £18 on Amazon.  Sounds like Series 4 is going to be an interesting watch when I get to it!
It was shot on tape,Aston.

Just started watching `Sunday Night At The London Palladium' - Volume Two.

If this is anywhere near as good as Volume One, then I'm in for a treat.

The recent Christmas Dr Who was very enjoyable.  Better than the one from 2010 anyway!

"It's All Over Town" a lovely quite camp one hour delight of the singers and their songs back in the 60's,which to me was the best decade of them all. Starring William Rushton,Lance Percival, and Patricia Hayes it also features stars such as Frankie Vaughan,Clodagh Rogers,The Shadows,The Springfields (Dusty Included) and Mr Acker Bilk and his jazzband.
The only thing that spoiled it for me was Lance Percival, who in my opinion was just being himself,as per usual  Roll Eyes

Lisbon Story is a great film behind all the fuzz.

Well, tonight I'll be listening to Episode 3 of the Marco Polo story from Dr Who.  Then it'll be another "exciting" episode of The Adventurer, then Las Vegas and I'll round the evening off with Hadleigh.

Margaret Thatcher - The Iron Lady

This is nothing to do with the Meryl Streep film, but a new one and half hour ITN Documentary of both her private and political life, with previously unseen footage.  It has an Extra section as well.

Just watched the Tom Baker Dr Who DVD "The Nightmare of Eden" with the awful Mandrels, its a good script though.

Directed by Alan Bromly, who also directed the orginal Crossroads at times, apparently he annoyed everyone on the Who set and was

relieved of his Director role after a particualrly unpleasent encounter with Tom Baker.

Just watched Doctor Who: Keeper of Traken (I just bought 'New Beginnings').  Haven't seen it since it was first broadcast in 1980.
I found Adric's relationship with the Doctor (Tom) quite amicable.  It wasn't to last though was it [behind the scenes, anyway].

Its funny Daniel,I like Adric in that story too,it seems that whenever Adric was paired with a regular Who girl (as Nyssa was orginally a

guest character in Traken)like Romana or Tegan,he's written like a brat again.
