A few years ago,John K sent me a tape which included a christmas message from Meg,of which I have never seen on screen,in which she was wishing amongst other things all the ladies in "Norris Ward" a speedy recovery, and dreading the snow and the bus strike that was currently happening in Birmingham. I don't have the tape now, just wondering if you know of the one that I mean Mike? Also as to what year it was?

There is a 'christmas message from the motel' noted as being attatched to  3396 25/12/1980

Those tapes in the shed should really be dug out, but we'll see.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

ITV were terrible nice to send those QE2 raw recordings I think they're still online somewhere.

But interesting to note that its quite rare that these raw reels are actually separate reels and unlike the other surviving material are not just stuck on the end or at the start of an episode tape.

So it does give some hope that the 1979 strike intro is there somewhere, just possibly un-logged.
