Sorry to but in but...
I know that Richard Thorp once appeared in Crossroads, could anybody tell me if he appears in any of the DVD's released (also does he appear in the Ward 10 dvd?). I would be very grateful as I'm an Emmerdale nut. Thanks.

Yes he's in one episode of Volume Four.
I'll try and grab an image later. Also photos of him in Emergency Ward 10 and Crossroads are on Rex Features.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

I hate to think what Vera is looking at.
Maybe the tragic jacket?

This looks like it was one of Richard Thorpe's last Crossroads episodes as the character is sailing from 'The Pool' the following night. It also looks like it's the only surviving clip of his time on Crossroads. The Doug Randall character was replaced by another sailor character, Gus Harmon played by John Ronane.

I've posted this here as well as The Emmerdale thread because its personally dedicated to him.
Richard Thorp's autobiography called `60 Years in The Wrong Job' is on sale next month.
29 years in Emmerdale will feature alot of course, but he's bound to mention ATV's Emergency Ward 10 and Crossroads.
A book that definitely interests me.

The Cedar Tree might even warrant a mention.

Oh yes, thanks DJB for that. That would make it three for ATV then.

Freeman's utterly beautiful and rather easy-on-the-eye co-Bargee.
(I cannot accept any responsibility for Daniel's actions, especially when he upsets people)

Doesn't it take you back? I used to love Vera, and used to worry about the lack of security on her boat. She seemed oblivious!
