Just an idea but it seems to me that the more of us their are that are searching for something, then there is more chance of someone on here finding it,if only by chance.
For instance at the moment I am on the lookout for a DVD,of a film that was once called THE VIP'S,but has since been re-named,but I'm not sure what it's now called, the cast include Richard Burton,Elizabeth Taylor, and Margaret Rutherford. So if anybody out there has any info on where I can buy it,or what it has been re-named,or maybe they even have it,then PLEASE let me know.
If anyone else has any similar request then feel free to post them on here.

The 20th Anniversary Crossroads special of Weekend magazine would be nice. Crossroads in arched text on the front from what I remember.
And the 'SOAPS' magazine from 1985 with Crossroads in too. Apart from that I'm happy.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

Theres a guy on youtube looking for the following:
A series of 1990s TV ads. They appeared around 1995/1996. I'm not sure what they were advertising (a maybe Findus foods), but they contained the catchphrase: "She wasn't prepared for that / He wasn't prepared for that!"
In one of the ads, a school lollipop lady popped up outside somone's kitchen window.
Any ideas?

Faintly seem to recall that or something like it.
I do have Jane Asher advertising McVities off UK Gold... not much use.

It was also released in Spain(Region 2)-plays in English without subtitles. That version is available on Amazon Marketplace or Ebay(sometimes)if you don't want the version on Amazon.com which seems to be region 1.However,the Region 1 version seems to be quite a bit cheaper at the mo.

Oops.. Didn't notice it was region 1. Sorry! When 2001 ended I wanted three things: a badge, the welcome sign from reception and the water feature. Fortunately I was given the first two. I had to buy the last one myself! http://www.crossroads2001.co.uk/museum.htmWhen series 3 ended I wanted Rocky's hat and the heart shaped fountain. I got neither! I did get a table from the entrance hall and Rocky's jacket - so it kind of counts! Collecting this stuff has been fun - there are some very generous people out there - but is has also proved to be an expensive hobby - as I'm sure Mike will testify. Mind you - its worth it!

Yes its always nice when someone is generous and donates items to the archive. It happens more than people may expect. Recently Mr Oakley with his fabulous photos. And I remember a fair few years ago a young man contacted us with lots of magazines his aunt had in her house and after she departed gave them to us for free.

That's an act of generosity that won't go unnoticed. We didn't win it (I didn't bid), but the winner sent it to CAS.
When I say sent, thats the entire TV Times magazines.
And it wasn't a cheap buy either!
Some people are very kind.

Thanks to you both for the info on "The VIP'S",actually Burton & Taylor both lived down the road from where I live now,in a place called "Squire's Mount" here in Hampstead.

Hampy, there've been many famous personalities who lived/live in Hampstead - can add any?! the ones I know of: (some have moved away) Esther Rantzen, Boy George, George Michael, Michael Wilson (007 Producer) Gordon Jackson.
