Least they'll have 1988 in decent clear form.

Though I think I should get onto the MG motor club, hire a sportscar and have Jane comment that she always thought "Kings Oak Country Hotel" was a bloody long and awful name.

I LOVE that idea! Smiley

They were hoping to have the footage by Friday, they know how to push things to the limit.

Safe to say I've secured Chris Stacey soap expert and Crossroads fan for the gig.

I've just noticed in next weeks TV Times that  on Monday`The One Show' is on at the earlier time of 6.30 p.m. because of the Bank Holiday probably.  I wouldn't want anybody to miss it.

Do I take it there's a Crossroads feature on The One Show on Monday then?

Yes, Chris Stacey, well known soap expert and Crossroads fan is featuring.  Sorry I thought with Mike mentioning The One Show earlier on in this thread that it was known about but the Chris's bit is only being recorded today.  Interview only fixed up in the last couple of days.

I think I may have actually stolen Mike's thunder in announcing it.  I only did it because of the time change on Monday.  Roll Eyes

Okay, the BBC are dessssparate for 2003 clips. They'll take anything of the last episode.

So if anyone has it in VHS but SP (not LP) wave your arms here. They'd like basically the opening titles, and the bit where angel drifts off into the dream and the dream.

If anyone has it and can record it in (I can't do widescreen recording in at the moment I don't think on the PC unless someone knows how with a old Creative video card) and put it on a yousendit type site I can pass it to the BBC or I can pass their email to you and you can pass it on.

Any takers? Just be a shame for the Carlton ending to be excluded due to no clip at all.

Actually I don't suppose it matters about widescreen, they'll be able to crop it.

I believe that I have managed to copy the ep onto disc - and it is actually reasonable quality.

As for sending online - I wouldn't have a clue. Don't suppose BBC would stump up train fare from Grantham to London on a Saturday would they?

If the BBC want it - I can get to London with it - stay with my mate and come home Sunday... but would need to know asap. Would prefer them to pay £40 train fare

Oh I don't think its worth that much effort! They could have paid the £100 to ITN for that, though I Guess they charge more for airing on BBC 1 as well.

I've only got LP so they'll just have to stick to 1988 and Angel and Carlton and her broccoli will just have to be brushed over in passing. Which may not be such a bad thing really.

I've got that TV 50 Endings on Sky +. I just have to find a way of getting it from the player to the computer and I can't think of anyway of doing it in widescreen. Tho I'm sure my mk3 is recorded in 4.3 because the VHS machine was so old it didn't get the widescreen format.

Don't worry about the aspect ratio, they'll ARC it (aspect ratio converter).  I have a great copy, but am filming in Hong Kong at the moment otherwise it wouldn't have been a problem.
