Mine is VHS onto DVD - so not brilliant. Its not awful... just not brilliant!

Yes I said we all seem to have it on VHS, but mine was LP which is not good.
I've given them the 1988 ending, so they have something to work with. Quite the opposite of Scarlet TV who had the 2003 clips but not 1988.

Okay - checked - not broadcast quality - but not horrendous
Maybe reduced in size with a "one show" border it would probably be passable

I was going to try to get it off my sky+ the top 50 TV Endings but the DVD player is just that no recorder. So that fell flat. They were hoping to have the footage by Friday, they know how to push things to the limit.
Safe to say I've secured Chris Stacey soap expert and Crossroads fan for the gig.

Not this time, though if you want to stand in Chris Stacey's sitting room wearing it I doubt they'd say no. What they'd make of CAS I dunno.
I have been told prop wise a mk2 cup will be present to represent that whole era.

Strange about this I have just transferred the last two episodes of the 2003 Crossroads to DVD and also the last original 1988 (UK Gold) Crossroads to DVD. My Crossroads Mk2 episodes all of about five seem to be in a rather poor state, never mind no great loss!

Chris has a 'fair' copy on VHS they'll have to just use that at a push. I don't think we'd get it to Chris in time for Friday Royal Mail are not great these days.
Obviously they could get it from ITV, but I assume One Show budgets don't allow for such lavish ideas.

Least they'll have 1988 in decent clear form.
Though I think I should get onto the MG motor club, hire a sportscar and have Jane comment that she always thought "Kings Oak Country Hotel" was a bloody long and awful name.
