Hopefully this will work... using a mobile internet connection...

From today's Shropshire Star....

I told the reporter to include the CAS url but he hasn't - so any details they get from readers will have to come through them.

Much of what was quoted came from an email that i sent the other day

Thanks for posting.  Very nice to see.  Shame about the demolition, although we knew it was going to happen.

Did they use Heathbury's 'megamixed' version of the motel photo in the paper?

I'm surprised they didn't opt for the one of Meg and Sandy with the sign.

Not too mocking - so yes - good. Shame they didn't get in touch with more CAS members though - I gave them contact details and also details of network dvd in the email i sent originally (May / June) so they had plenty of time

Well 300 episodes in the archive releases and the walls wobble twice - and both by cast being forceful. Thats a good ratio really.

Interesting that Paul Henry has no memory of this location.I wonder was somewhere else used in 1981.

I'm pretty sure from the description from Scott of the hit and run it was around the motel chalets and car park so I'd bet that is Longshoot.

But its curious, because Sandy's farm scenes are clearly here (from the Shropshire on the outdoor truck) but you'd have thought Ed Lawton's outside farm shots would have been here too.

Is the demolition photo the only one they've taken, the other looks like the one off here as well.

It is, thats why its blurred. ITs been pulled to be bigger.

I guess that means Shropshire News won't mind if ATV use the photo of the demolition in return then on ATV Today... Tongue
