With the Noele Gordon Estate in association with CAS, and ATV we've started the first of two official things on NGE's behalf.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Noele-Gordon-Official/107707952593988?ref=ts

Official Facebook page for Nolly.

The website will follow. Will have to speak to some of the ITV organisations about stuff for that first.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

That was a good article.

I noticed they had her d.o.b. as 1936.  I think she would have been pleased at that, making her 17 years younger than what she was.

On the subject of Noele Gordon's website, the www.noelegordon.co.uk has been updated slightly. There is her addresses added to the bio page that we know of, East Ham, Illford, Central London, Handsworth Wood, Ross on Wye ect.

A music page has been added.

I don't think I'm dreaming it, I was going to put an 'adverts' page on. I'm sure I saw on Ebay recently a magazine which the listing included Noele plugging some sort of drink beginning with 'T' (not Tizer) some sort of ginger ale I think, and now I've gorne and forgot what it was.

Could well be, the name just won't come back to me, so much so I'm starting to wonder if I dreamed it LOL. Well someone may have bought the magazine from the 1970s on Ebay.

We know about the shoes and the cereal one and even the goodness help it 'life size model' that was in Brentford Nylons.

Yes the shoes were for "Norvic" and the cereal was "Bemax" with that picture of her in the wicker chair,(taken by Mike Summerton) but I can't say I recall this Ginger Ale one.  I was just thinking could it have been Ginger Beer that she was promoting, and then I thought "I don't think so,that would have been taking the Mick" if you get what I mean Wink

Still having problems finding that soft drink advert out Mike.
However I see on some forum called CG Collectors Gifts that someone is selling that page from an old mag from 1976 with Nolly promoting Bemax Wheatgerm, for £4.99 plus P&P.  Seems a bit steep to me, when you can buy mags from the 70's for under a quid.

I've got the large poster of her advertising Norvic Shoes ,possibly around the same time.

Oh and an unopened Crossroads 34 year old Jigsaw puzzle.
I also remember her having a weekly Recipe page in one of the Woman's magazines at around the same time as the Crossroads Monthly's came out,and I think that the magazine was Women's Realm, not sure if it still exist, might be worth checking out.

When we asked the publishers of Crossroads Monthly (well Maria gave them a tinkle) they swore they'd never made such a magazine,  until they were told Felix Dennis had spoken of it recently. So they did rummage for info after that.

But these magazines don't seem to have much of an archive researcher to say. Apart from the TV Times who are rather good.
