I think it's the nose and the hair that clinched it for me as well as the shot starting on him and then tracking to the scene proper, between Mrs Carey and Rex.
Wasn't Wyngarde just brilliant as Jason King?!

Aston, I truly accept it is now Russell Harty.
Peter Wyngarde was brilliant as Jason King. Shame his private life ruined things for him, then he disappeared.

Episodes 2602-3 - Bloopers-a-go-go!
The timeline of events concerning Glenda doesn't match what's happening at the motel, especially in 2602 Part Two.
Following the big cliff-hanger in 2602, Glenda isn't mentioned again in the next episode.
In 2603, Sandy peruses the salon's figures, commenting that they're looking good. It's a bit of a miracle, as the figures he's looking at seem to relate to the various regions - they're either appreciation indexes or viewing figures. Pause the DVD and you'll see the top line gives abbreviations for the regions. When the camera pulls back you can see a list of programmes on the left-hand column of the left page, including Double Your Money and Emergency - Ward 10. Clearly the figures are from the 60s, as one region is TWW - Television Wales & West.
In the next scene as Anthony takes a seat in Sandy's wheelchair (there's a liberty!), the boom microphone dips into shot.
In Part Two, Nolly has clearly been told to fill for a bit, but isn't terribly good at it: "Yes, we're in each - easy reach of Stratford... Yes, and Coventry too, with all the shops and... Ohhh... Yes, it is a lovely coun... Yes, bye-bye."
And at the start of the final scene, Russell Harty's waiting in reception and nobody's noticed.
There is actually another "blooper" in that episode. It is when Jill, Stan, Meg & Hugh are talking round the bar. Jill starts saying who is coming to her dinner party : She says "Hugh, Meg, Anthony, Sandy". She should have said "Mum".

Should this thread be under DVD Episodes?
Anyway something I've noticed again that few of us have ever mentioned!! If you listen to Crossroads of the 1970s (less so early 80s) you will hear the faint sound of extractor fans ON in the studio ceiling. I remember noticing that as a young fellow in the 70s.

I seem to remember in the mid-70's, the door into reception (that had no glass in it!) lost its 'spring-thing' for a few episodes. Everytime anyone (including extras) used it, it would SLAM about three or four times before it settled into place.

I've certainly noticed the lack of glass in the door. Then one day, the glass was there!

In Episode 3159 Archive 20, Eira Turvey in conversation with her Dad Cyril Watkins refers to Dr Butterworth as Mr Butterworth.

I was just watching the ep were Anthony proposes to Jill - and her face is slightly too dark in one shot and as the scene continues someone turns up the light on her face and you can see it brightening. This also happened in 83 in Diane's flat with Diane and Sharon - the story was the Nina story and under the eves of her living room someone raises the light levels under it too fast and reduces it and the scene continues. For the ep with Anthony and Jill - the last minute of so as both characters speak if you turn the volume up you can hear McCartney's theme well in advance of where it would normally come in.

Noticed a blooper on the ad break credits of Episode 3117 where someone appears to walk across the shot, the same happens on the end caption of 3119.

It is not a `blooper' as such, but in Episode 1977, Sept 1973 - Archive 3, Meg is cuddling up to Hugh on the sofa, when she straightens up, her dress collar, a large white one, is rucked up at the back. Whilst continuing with Hugh's lines, John, the ever gentleman turns Nolly's collar back down and straightens it for her.
