...so pop a message with an address to send to and I can send some DVDs is what I was going to say.

Will do Mike. I have the '85 ones with David driving through the snow in his Rover. The piano theme plays over it :-)

Oh.... what I wouldn't give to see the Motel strike!  Cheesy Wink Kiss Will send you an e-mail today.

There is another with the incidental music too, and I can't think what it is.

The slow version of the piano theme is used around this time in Diane's flat - which is now home to Iris and Harry McGuire's son, Pete. He walks from the kitchen to start mixing a cocktail of drugs as the music plays in the background with quite a few props on the table next to him to help him inject. When I think of it now it seems so unlike Crossroads.

Ah yes it fades off when Larry knocks on the door I think.

A bit like the 1974 one where Meg is wandering round her sitting room.

I remember they played another slow version of the theme when Nicola pulled up in her car outside her parents house for the first time in years, and it played again when she hesitated and drove off again to 'End Of Part One'. Her mother was quite down-to-earth wasn't she! I think Nicola was being a bit of a snob!

The piano theme was also heard as Miranda drives her white VW Polo in to Birmingham to see an Estate Agent. The scene of her driving through the snow is quite drawn out, you get the whole of the piano theme but played VERY slowly. It's another good early Bowman episode if memory serves. Early because David is still in charge @ Crossroads. That might be the episode you're thinking of Mike  Smiley

I can remember someone making a complaint in a TV comments section, about the Miranda driving scene, something along the lines of its great Crossroads is doing more location work but did we have to see an episode devoted to Miranda's driving,oh dear!

Haha! Now there's a letter I'd like to see. It is rather pointless tbh, but atmospheric. Early days for Mr Bowman and Co. Obviously trying to get used to doing OB instead of being stuck on the sets all the time!  Wink
