I always found it amusing when Kath 'phoned Arthurt at the office, much to his displeasure. No expense was spared on the set for Arthur's office which was a desk pushed up against a wall - with a picture of the Queen hanging up behind!

Nice pic Daniel!  Arthur was the most boring character, and yet so interesting to watch! (if you know what I mean). A bit like Norris in Corrie nowadays I suppose.

That set type has a name, which escapes me at the moment, where its just one or two walls and a small furniture item. Oh bugger, where did  I read it.. in the ATV Staff Handbook I think.

Something like 'half set' but not as obvious.

My mother always had an issue with Arthur Brownlow.  I'm not sure if it was because he was so miserable or because he used to tuck his tie into his trousers!

Did he? I'd never noticed that Aston. I would say I'll have to look out for that... but then, I have to question why you or your dear old mum for that matter, were looking at Arthur's groin anyway. He's hardly a stud  Wink

I can't claim I've noticed it too much myself either, Steve!   Grin Grin  However, when it comes to how people dress, my dear lady mother tends to pick up on that kind of thing!   Cheesy  If, on the other hand, she was looking *down there*, I can't imagine Arthur Brownlow would have been much of an improvement on my father, really!!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
