Neil McCaul (Patrick in Mk II) was on Holby City on Tuesday night. I'd forgotten what a superb voice he has!

Belinda Everett who played 'Jazz' in Mark Two is in Blue Murder as one of the detective team. She placed Rhea Bailey who went of to The Bill.
Now coincidentally Rhea Bailey was also in Crossroads Mark Two as Chloe I think it was, Nicola's best friend. She was axed and replaced with....Belinda Everett as Jazz.

Another Mark Two related one.....Minty's stalker who got obsessed with him when he was doing the Pirate Radio Station from a van in the Hotel Car-Park [how very Mark One] has been a regular cast member of Doctors for several years now.
So from one daytime soap supposedly set near Birmingham but actually filmed in Nottingham to another daytime soap actually filmed and set in Brum!

Elsie Kelly is in Benidorm again. Max Brown - Mark Russell - was in The Tudors. He was in the latter half of Season Two and all of Season Three, which just finished its run on BBC Two. Not sure if he'll be in Season Four though.
Colin Wells - Jake Booth - has also cropped up in several episodes of Casualty over the past few months as a Copper.

Of course let's not forget Freema Agyeman (Martha from Doctor Who) started off
as Lola Wise in Crossroads, and her screen sister Belle is now Nancy in Hollyoaks (Jessica Fox).
I think Hollyoaks is well connected with Crossroads Mark I & II as Max Brown was in it for a while playing a character called Christian, as was Colin Wells who played Jonno Dean.
Plus Toby Sawyer and James McKenzie Robinson were in it pre-crossroads, as was Natasha Symms
who played a hotel guest who slept with Jake Booth (Colin Wells).

I saw Kenneth Gilbert (Oliver Banks) in an episode of TVs Agatha Christie's Poirot - I think it was Evil Under The Sun made in 2001 and he's hardly changed at all - only difference was his white hair.

DJB, thanks for that. Since you mentioned a while ago that she was in Gavin & Stacey, I've been watching BBC3 repeats but haven't seen her. The ones I watched she wasn't in unfortunately.
