I know we keep talking about it, but er, does anyone know which bridge it was she waves orf from?

Just there are still mootings for a documentary and we may even have the luxury of Venice itself. I don't think Tunisia is likely...

I have also found a version of the music which is very classical by Gian Piero Roverberi.

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

I don't know the name of the bridge, but it's right next to the Doge's Palace, near St Mark's Square.

I am now listening to Rondo Veneziano on my MP3 device and I can tell you, tears are rolling down my cheeks! Very emotional darlings ...

A few years ago, I listened to it whilst on a Vaporetto (that's a boat, dear) travelling down the Canale Grand in Venice itself.

I also found the hotel where Jill and Meg had their emotional renunion. I can tell you that the tears were welling up as I walked around that restaurant!

Valerie

I envy you darling, sounds like a wonderful experience!

Sorry been away - but checking in again this evening.

Did not realise what I had started with that question.

Thanks

Off to my chalet

Indeed. Having looked it up on Google, just now, I think it's call the Ponte Della Paglia. The Bridge of Sighs is just a little bit behind it.

You can see it in the background of this photo of the Bridge of Sighs here:

Well I think it's important that the more travelled and more cultured amongst us share our experiences with those less fortunate than ourselves. It helps us to underline our superiority.

I long to see the Venice eps and wish they had been part of the best of volume releases by network. I have never seen Noeles return and final secens. i love the City of venice. I went with my dad for my 21st, havent been back since but would love to, with someone special this time, not that my old dad isnt special but you know what i mean. Were there two episodes filmed in venice? was it all location or was there some studio scenes?

DanAir - they were loveley episodes. They were filmed totally on location, even the bedroom scene, with the Venice theme played throughout. It gave it a bit of extra classiness being shot on film rather than cheap video.
