Anyone...

Quick facts.. Alan Coleman was the first director at Crossroads. Producer Reg Watson directed the first week, Alan oversaw the second week. Alan directed the very first show produced at the Broad Street Studios - which was Crossroads - and was interviewed on the very last show produced there before they were closed in 1998 - this was for the Central Jobfinder programme.

Storylines, include Sandy's car crash from 1972 and the 1969 witchcraft storyline which saw the IBA crackdown on such 'spiritual' plots in the soap.

Its unfortunate so much of Alan's Crossroads work is missing, however its a once in a life time chance to find something out about the early Crossroads 1964-1974, especially as so little information is around.

Any questions are most welcome. {edit email address removed}

I'll never forget that night at Crossroads, when you said 'all good things must come to an end'. And then you smiled. And I knew that you meant it.

*Locks the email*

Thanks for the emails with questions. Proved very interesting, and we've even discovered the Cherrytrees Motel wasn't used originally as the outside of the complex.

I'll be putting together the questions I've thought of along with the other suggestions and send them off to Alan shortly.  :mrgreen:
